A love for every flavor

Ethan's passion for food was undeniable. He wished he could summon any dish on command! Our family outings often revolved around food, with "going out to eat" being the unanimous choice. Even as his appetite changed, his love for food remained. He enjoyed a burger, fries, and a milkshake as his last meal, a testament to his enduring appreciation for simple pleasures.

Ethan's favorite: chipotle

Ethan's absolute favorite was my homemade chipotle. He declared he could eat it every day! His palate was refined, and any food he recommended never disappointed. My dear Ethan, I had to write about your love of food. About how you loved to eat and how you would help me cook until you couldn’t. You my dear son are amazing. Everytime I eat I think of you and your passion for it. May you enjoy every kind of food in heaven and I can’t wait to enjoy them with you when the Lord calls me home too. I’m happy I found this page on Alex’s instagram as sort of an outlet and tribute to who Ethan was. I’m forever changed Ethan. I can’t seem to go a day without holding on to memories of you as a kid. When I would hope to see you at Tati Tatou’s house the times I would come over because I knew I would be laughing the whole time. I wish I had more time to experience who you were as you got older. But how bright and refreshing you were even from stories and through the grapevine. I try to channel my sad thoughts of you to thoughts of hope, hope we’ll see you again. Hope that God was so faithful beyond our understanding. Because of you my faith has grown stronger, and I thank you. I miss you❤️

Coming to this page as an outlet to remember and soak in everything that is Ethan is such a blessing. I miss him every single day, every single minute—but how blessed are we to have known him. There will never be another soul as special as yours. God created you so perfectly, and every second without you is felt and missed so deeply. I love you forever, Ethan and I will carry every memory we made together with me always. I wish I could’ve had you with me forever, but now you are forever my angel. I can’t wait to eat, dance and laugh with you so hard when our time is again. Forever and always my honey.❤️

Alex, you are hurting… you’ve experienced life changing moments….. losing Ethan is unbearable… But one thing is for sure… this foreign feeling is setting you up a new purpose… new testimony…. A new YOU….
I will continue to “ remind” you that you have such a great purpose on this earth… you have dealt with things that were meant to break you down, but you prevailed…
I will never be in a position to tell you how to grief… BUT I urge you to continue to let your faith guide you, continue to smile and laugh of the great memories you shared with Ethan ( it may be hard to pick one…. or two …..or even three) Ethan did not disappoint 😎😂…
Grief is not something that can be explained, it can only be felt by the person experiencing it… so, continue to pray for strength and resilience…. We will not question our father, but we will continue to trust him and believe there is a reason he recalled his angel…

Ethan was truly one of a kind. He lit up a room with laughter and joy even when he was in the worst pain. Everyday is hard without him but he gave me motivation to keep going. I remember countless days in the hospital where he was still continuing his education while fighting the biggest battle of his life. No one is as strong as him and meeting someone like that I am forever grateful for.

Seeing the sibling bond Noah and Ethan had always reminds me of my sister and I. I promised myself to never take that for granted because it could be gone within a second.

Ethan you are so missed by everyone. I miss your jokes. I miss seeing you get mad when your mom would make you eat spinach every morning. I miss seeing you light up when you talked about your honey. I even miss you showing your butt on FaceTime surprising lol.You made this family whole. We love you so much Ethan.
